Campbellton historian and Georgia author, Sidney A. Brown, will be presenting his Power Point program: “Campbellton, Still Being Discovered” at the quarterly meeting of the Old Campbell County Historical Society. Be the first to see photos of the scale model second Campbell County Jail, c1858. The meeting starts at 3:00 p.m. on January 18, 2015. Please arrive a few minutes early to assure seating and register.
The museum is under new management and offers a wealth of research materials available to the serious researcher and genealogist. Many of the exhibit areas have been reorganized. Come, see, listen, and enjoy! (Historic Courthouse, 45 NE Broad Street, Fairburn, GA. 30213)
